Hailed as one of Britain’s best upcoming Indie bands, Colourkinesis combine great rock tunes with stomping beats and catchy hooks, with sincere ballads which will melt even the most hardened of hearts. Steve and Sophie’s vocals are not only powerful, but emotive and lyrically meaningful.

Anyone who says they are a lover of Rock and Indie music will undoubtedly love the sound of Colourkinesis.

In 2004, after only 12 months together Colourkinesis released their debut EP 'Time Will Find a Healer'. It was thanks to this recording that the gigs instantly started to pick up as band promoters were won over by the fresh sound. The final track 'Feels Alright' is still a live favourite, ending most Ck shows.

Released in 2005, 'Sex, Drugs 'N' Lies' saw Ck grow stronger with a more up tempo approach. 'Mullet Song' was an instant fan favourite and the sheer power of 'Amanda' is something that you need to see live to really appreciate. Their live tours are not to be missed and it is live that this band excels.

Colourkinesis have continued to move things forward since the release of their first EP; which in itself was a fantastic debut. The maturity shown in their latest tracks such as 'Step Into The Sun', which is the title track to their latest release, will leave you craving more of the same. This is such a magnificent EP, and Steve, Sophie, Gary, Marcy and JP have mastered their craft to perfection.

Colourkinesis have just completed their third tour of the UK. In the 3 years they have been together, Colourkinesis have not only supported some of the UK’s biggest bands, they also reached number 1 in the Independent Worldwide Radio charts proving that the material is marketable to a wide audience. 'Love Won’t Wait' was recently Number 1 on Aiiradio’s Internet Top 40 following last year's chart topper 'Annie (Don’t Listen)' and top 10's 'Amanda' (2) and 'Sex, Drugs 'N' Lies' (8). This is a fantastic achievement, and it proves that they are one of only a handful of bands that have what it takes.

It is refreshing to come across a band that can stand up and be counted for the talent that each individual member of the band possesses. There is no hiding behind the front-man here. Each and every member of this band has exhaustive talent.
